Fungus Amongus - 1995
Incubus’ debut studio album released on their on independent label “Stopuglyailfungus Music on Chillum,” is arguably the funkiest of Incubus music with a mixture of funk, rock and rap (spoken word if rap conjures visions of DMX). Garnering comparisons to Fishbone, Primus and Rage Against the Machine, this CD is hardly the Incubus we know today

S.C.I.E.N.C.E. - 1997
Incubus’ second album, S.C.I.E.N.C.E. incorporates drum n’ bass and Trance along with hazz, hip hop and ambient sounds. The acronym has no real meaning, S.C.I.E.N.C.E. itself is an expression the band used to explain their experience with the albums production - like a science project. Songs off of the album have been featured on the PSX videogame Test Drive Off Road 3, in the movie Final Destination 2 and on the computer game Motocross Madness 2.

The third studio album, and their breakthrough into the mainstream. On the list of 1001 Albums to hear before you die, Make Yourself presented a definite shift in style for the band. With charting singles “Drive,” “Stellar” and their defining hit “Pardon Me,” Make Yourself sparked the interest of nu metal fans looking for something different.

A Crow Left of the Murder - 2004
Their 5th studio album, A Crow Left of the Murder’s title carries the interpretation that a single crow separates himself from the murder (a group of crows) and can be applied to a political or musical meaning. Filled with passionate lyrics, Brandon Boyd exhibits conviction in his beliefs, whether they’re political or pop related remains to be determined. Light Grenades- 2006
Incubus’ sixth studio album and debuted at number 1 on the Billboard top 200 and has gone gold in the US. According toe Einziger the album - “sounds like 13 different bands playing 13 different songs… Every time we’re about to start making a new album, I tell myself, ‘Okay, this one’s going to be cohesive,’ and it never happens” The album is dotted with the gritty rock they exhibited earlier in their career along with trippy, guitar driven tangents reminiscent of Led Zeppelin. incubus embarked on an Incubus tour that year and gave fans a healthy mix of all of their favorites.
